Some women suffer from yeast infection during pregnancy which is very difficult to get rid of and it may even get transferred to the unborn baby. This mainly happens because of the high levels of estrogen which produces glycogen which leads to the growth of these yeasts. The yeast infection if kept without giving proper treatment may just pass on to the mouth of the baby during the delivery and this is known as thrush.

At the beginning you will be able to see a few rashes developing in the area of the vagina which may spread fast if you do not consult a doctor immediately. There might just be itching or even redness on the mouth of the vagina, which, if it accelerates can cause a lot of discomfort and can even cause a person to go to the restroom very often. Sometimes you will even have a yellowish or whitish discharge which will smell like yeast from your vagina. Now these are the various symptoms of the yeast infection during pregnancy.

When a woman is pregnant she goes through a lot of hormonal changes so her immune system is already quite down. Hence it is very easy for the Albicans to attack the woman. Due to the chemical as well as hormonal changes there is an increased secretion of sugar in her vagina. That area will become very moist and warm. You should also try and prevent yourself form going out in the heat because the acidity level increases and this will disrupt the ph balance in the body.

You should also avoid swimming so that you keep the vagina dry. Every time you use the bathroom make sure that you clean and wipe your vaginal area. You should also reduce the amount of sugar you take in because high blood sugar and diabetes increases in this situation. Also make sure that you always wear dry, clean and airy panties to keep the vaginal area comfortable and dry as well. You will have to wash your underwear everyday and then wear it.

Make sure that you do not use any vaginal spray when you have yeast infection during pregnancy. Furthermore avoid all sorts of bubble baths and perfumed or colored toilet paper. Also make sure that you have a lot of yogurt included in your diet.
